We are the Kaisers, Judy and Walt. In July 2002 we sold our home in Rescue, California and bought HOWIE, a new Holiday Rambler Endeavor, 40 foot diesel pusher and set out on the road as full-time RVers. ( HOWIE stands for House On Wheels Includes Everything). Since 2002 we have seen 49 of the 50 states and logged over 100 thousand miles in HOWIE. have seen 4 Canadian Provinces and 3 states in Mexico.

Because of the demand for pictures of Howie’s improvements I’ve added a page detailing all the improvements. Check it out.

On the 17th of January, 2010 we signed a 10 year lease for a 66 foot by 66 foot lot on which to build our RV lot. Cost of the lease is $1650 per year. It will have water and sewer setups for 2 rigs. Power will be supplied by either generator or solar. We have both, so the solar takes precedent. The weather here is fantastic, 70 during the day and mid 50’s at night.

San Felipe’s slogan is “No Bad Days”. If you come to San Felipe expecting another Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta or Cancun you will be disappointed. What we do not have is all of the tourists, cruise ship people, night clubs and street hustlers. We do NOT have police corruption, drug wars and violent crime.
What we do have is a small little fishing village with some street shops, good restaurants, one night club and mile after mile of beautiful sandy beaches. We have several farmacias, one clinic, several dentists and optometrists, several decent grocery stores, building supply places, great bakeries and yes, even a decent golf course at El Dorado Ranch.
For your amusement we have some really good fishing via charter boats or pangas. We have the beautiful desert filled with Old Man cactus, ocotillo and other indigenous plants. We are the home of the Baja 250 and 500. We also have some of the friendliest people in all of Mexico. By the way, Spanish is NOT a prerequisite but it helps. The people will try to converse with you IF YOU make the effort to converse with them. COME ON DOWN, it’s great down here.
Someone reminded me that there are several San Felipe’s in Mexico, our’s is on the east coast of the Baja, 120 miles south of the California border.
